Gala Dinner April 25th
The Gala dinner will begin with a 2-hour sunset cruise on the medieval ship replica "Karaka." The ship will cruise around the old town. After docking, guests will enjoy a 3-course dinner with unlimited drinks at the five-star Hotel Excelsior. The dinner will also feature a DJ and photobooth. Enjoy scenic views of the old town and connect with your favorite colleagues from around the world!
Gala tickets are €180. Please note that Gala Dinner is sold out.
Practical Tips for the Gala Dinner

Departure: Buses from the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel to the port will leave promptly at 4:30 p.m. Please be on time!

Refreshments: Due to high demand for the Gala dinner, there will be no organized refreshments on the sailship. However, a limited selection will be available for purchase. Please note that the bar on board only accepts cash payments.

Footwear and Clothing Advisory: To protect the beautiful wooden ship and ensure a comfortable walk from the Old Town harbor to the Gala venue at the Excelsior Hotel (approximately 10 minutes), ladies are kindly requested not to wear high heels on board. If desired, heels can be brought along in a bag. Our planned 2-hour sailing time can be enjoyed also from the upper deck. Make sure to dress accordingly and have another layer of clothing ready to fully enjoy the beauty of the Adriatic in April with average evening temperatures of about 10 degrees Celsius.

Return Transport: Buses back will depart every 5 minutes starting at 11:20 p.m. Guests who wish to leave earlier are kindly asked to arrange their own transportation.

Upon registering for the meeting, you will receive an email with instructions on how to make hotel reservations at discounted reservation rates at Hotel Palace (venue hotel) and Hotel Kompas. After February 28, 2025, the reservations are possible at the discounted prices, but are subject to availability. If you'd like to arrive earlier or stay a few days longer, the discounted prices are valid for 3 days before and after the SOSORT congress.

Airport
The nearest airport to Dubrovnik is Dubrovnik (DBV).
Transportation
- There are several options to reach the venue hotel from the airport. You can take the public transfer bus from the airport to the old town (price 10 EUR one way) and then bus number 4 from Pile (first station) to Palace hotel (last station). - Tickets for the bus should be bought at a kiosk at the bus station and validated upon entering the bus. Prices can be found at https://www.libertasdubrovnik.hr/en/price-list and range between 2-10 EUR.
