Since its beginning in 2004, the International Society on Scoliosis Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment (SOSORT) has been dedicated to the advancement of the non-operative management of idiopathic scoliosis and other spinal structural changes. SOSORT is a multi-disciplinary society that brings together clinicians and researchers from all over the world to exchange the knowledge and newest trends in conservative treatment of spinal structural changes. The work of this organization is grounded in scientific evidence, clinical expertise, and professional consensus. Its mission is to advance foundational knowledge, document effective historical interventions, and develop and refine guidelines to promote effective and innovative treatments for this population. |
SOSORT, like many other scientific societies, has mandated certain requirements that each applicant must attain to be considered for membership. If you meet these criteria please complete the online form. To be considered for admission at the 2025 conference, all new member applications must be submitted by January 31, 2025.
1) Must be a medical doctor, physiotherapist, orthotist, chiropractor, osteopath, researcher or other professional actively involved in the management and research of people with scoliosis and other structural changes of the spine.
2) Must attend at least one SOSORT conference prior to your membership application, until this is achieved you will be considered a provisional member.
As a member of SOSORT, you will become part of a growing society that is recognized as a leader in the non-operative care of spine structural changes.
